
NATIONAL ACADEMY LEAGUE (U13–U19)
Overview
NVU’s National Academy League (NAL) teams compete in a club-versus-club platform aligned with MLS NEXT, providing a competitive environment for Pre-MLS NEXT and second teams within the NVU pathway.
The NAL serves as a natural extension of our MLS NEXT structure, maintaining consistent standards across all U13–U19 age groups while offering meaningful weekly competition and development opportunities.

NAL teams participate in:

Identification & Tryouts
NVU operates one identification and placement process for all competitive teams. Players are evaluated once and placed appropriately within the NVU pathway based on development and readiness.
